Time…
Time flies by at the same speed for every one but sometimes it seems to slow down for some. It’s amazing how some people remain so much more in tune to the rhythms of nature than others. But for those with money, a slice of the rural life can be offered to in the form of agriturismo in Italy. Imagine going back to a time of no cell phones, internet, digital cable, etc. Just you walking through dirt roads like many did centuries ago (maybe even the same roads used during the Roman Empire), lingering around right after lunch at which point you decide a short nap is due. Then in the evening, you go outside and look at all the stars in the sky right before going to bed among crisp white sheets. And of course, there’s also all the homemade food. I find that sounds a bit more civilized than having to rush through traffic to head out to the nearest fast food joint, but, of course, many disagree…

It sounds wonderful to me. Cut out all the junk and just get back to the moon and the stars and the seasons and the land.
