Hemp is Hip and not Just for Hippies
Because hemp is such a fast growing and tough plant it helps choke out other weeds and can withstand severe weather like drought and floods better than other crops.

Paper:
Green Field Paper Company creates environmentally friendly paper. They recycle paper, cotton and use hemp. They make all their products without cutting any trees. Green Field Paper Company’s handmade plantable seed paper is a wonderful idea. Instead of throwing your cards out, you plant them and they’re biodegradable so break down in the soil.
Ford is in the process of creating a car with hemp-based parts. A plastic hemp car was actually created back in 1941 as shown in this video.

She designs all her own clothing out of hemp, making each piece unique. Besides using hemp clothing, she also recycles clothes made out of other materials to decorate her one of a kind creations. She feels it’s important to push for the legalization of hemp farming. It’s important for our environment and our economy. If we all supported hemp products both would improve.
