Fear is a great leveler. Eco-crimes and the retribution to be paid will make the most hardened carbon criminals do a re-think. There is no escaping the long shadow of pollution during the waking hours. Escapism into the make believe is also out of the question. Theatres airing movies like the ‘Eleventh Hour’ hint at the knock at midnight. Nightmares of climate refugees bemusedly wandering from a tree filled Artic, to a barren rainforest will hopefully see us clearing up the big mess. Skill sets of future job applicants will stand out if they memorize the three R formulae – reduce, reuse and recycle. Candidates with a high IQ will fare better with an equally high EQ and CQ (carbon quotient) too. Though their wings are slightly singed and sooty, the green angel, by popular choice will be the lucky mascot. Global employers are looking for team players who can address environmental issues with a human face.
